Fascinating Cappadocia and Pamukkale

DAY 1: ANTALYA
Flights to Antalya and transfer to hotel. Cocktail reception, a description of the itinerary from the tour guide. Dinner and overnight in Antalya.

DAY 2: ANTALYA – KONYA - CAPPADOCIA
Ride through the beautiful scenery of the Taurus Mountains to the former capital of the Seljuks, Konya and visit the famous Order of dervishes of Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi from the 13th Century, and the museum. The dervishes are monks who put themselves in a special dance into a trance to meditate in this way. This mystical Order has brought in with its philosophy of life, pure love, a new interpretation of the Islamic religion. Continue to Cappadocia. Dinner and 2 nights in Cappadocia.

DAY 3: CAPPADOCIA
Full day tour of the fascinating lunar landscape of Cappadocia, which as a result of volcanic activity, was created by wind and water erosion in eons. The oddity of this material has been moving people in the early Christian period to make their homes and churches in the form of caves. For this reason, there are over thousands of churches and cave dwellings in the region. The most beautiful among them are seen in the open air museum of Göreme. Other highlights of today are the famous fairy chimneys, the rugged Pigeon Valley, the colorful valley of Avcilar, the citadel of Uchisar, which has a resemblance an ant nest, and many other stunning landscapes of this magical country. DAY 4: CAPPADOCIA - KONYA
After breakfast we will visit an underground city. Here, the early Christians in Anatolia were hiding from foreign aggressors. In the afternoon we will drive on the greatest plane of Turkey to Sultanhani Caravan Serail. Proceed to Konya. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 5 : CAPPADOCIA - PAMUKKALE
Departure from Konya on Aksehir, the city of the famous humorist Nasrettin Hodja. On our way we see the Anemon plantations of Afyon. Upon arrival in Pamukkale, we will visit the great cemetery of ancient Hierapolis, which is the biggest ancient cemetery in Turkey with 1200 sarcophagy exposed. The highlight of the region are the travertines, which have been formed by calcium deposits in thousands of years. In our hotel we will enjoy the thermal water, which has a curative effect against many illnesses. Dinner and overnight in Thermal Hotel.

DAY 6: PAMUKKALE - ANTALYA
On this day we enjoy on the trip to Antalya, the breathtaking landscapes of rugged mountains and the lakes of the Taurus. At about 1300 m altitude in the mountains, we will eyewitness the Turkish carpet weaving tradition. Dinner and overnight in Antalya region.

DAY 7: ANTALYA
In the morning we drive to Aspendos, where we visit the best preserved ancient Roman theatre in Anatolia. Then a tempting shopping opportunity awaits us in Antalya. In a public market we will find items such as oriental spices, fruits, vegetables and fish. Carefully we take our time for a stroll through this city. Then we make a detour to the Karpuzkaldiran waterfall that falls spectacularly from 39 meters into the Mediterranean. Tired but happy, we go back to our hotel.

DAY 8 :DEPARTURE
Transfer to the airport and flight back home.
